My Comments :

I find that this book is amazing to read. Fast pace and a page turner.

The character I love the most is Elizabeth Avery. She is just so deliciously "evil". Reminds me of someone that I know but too bad that particular friend doesn't have Elizabeth's skill in manipulation and ruthless. Am rather surprised that this is classified as a Christian book.

Initially when I read the synopsis, I thought this book would be just like any other thriller but it is not so. Apart from the suspense, the author also incorporated the "personal" sides of the three main characters. It makes them more real and believable to read.

Nevertheless, I think some maybe put off in the beginning as each chapter introduces new person and their life. To me that might be the biggest huddle coz by the time the author go back to the story, readers may have got mixed up what happen to who and who is who.

Anyway, I did enjoyed reading this. Hope to get my hands on more books by this author

My Comment:-

For the moment there I thought this would be just another Young Adult book with the usual Boy-Meets-Girl theme. However, I was dead wrong about it. As the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover" and may I expand it to " by it synopsis too".

The author, Jenny B Jones, did not only injected romance in the story but also loaded it with pain, humour and faith in God's will.

It was fun to read how the two of them, Beckett and Finley, met. Amazing to see how their path kept crossing. At first Finley wanted to avoid Beckett due to his Playboy reputation but slowly she discovered that what is reported is not what she sees.

I love Cathleen Sweeney. She is an old woman dying from cancer. She is full of bitterness and her past does not help with that. Nevertheless, she was assigned to Finley as a School Project. Their relationship begins and it gradually helps Finley with her grief.

Overall, this has been a good read. I love the author writing style and I hope to read more of her books.

My Comments :

This is Book 1 of The East Salem Trilogy, highly recommended to me by a friend who had read this author's work before.

I was hooked from page one. Love the plot. It's cleverly woven to keep the readers asking "What's next?". It's not only a suspense and thriller type of book but the hint of romance in it makes the book more attractive; at least it was for me. Some may not like it.

Love the way the author throw in some unexpected twist in it.

Another good thing about this book is that it's clean. No four letters words like some others nor violent sex scene. Just a hint of blossoming romance.

The downside of this book that at certain place, I find it a tad long winded. Maybe more editing needed?

Overall, this has been an enjoyable book and I look forward to the next two books. Hope they will be available soon.

My Comments :

This is the first book of The Ancient Earth Trilogy by Ross Lawhead.

First of all am not really a fan of fantasy fiction and I find that fantasy novel are hard to follow and relate to. What made me request this book was the synopsis sounded great. Well, am happy to say this book did not disappoints me.

Initially, I find that it was rather hard to for to start reading this book as there are several stories being revealed simultaneously. It was rather confusing for me

However, once I have grasps who is who in the story and what timeline the story being told, I found that it's a really exciting book to read. Still, I finds the constant flash back was a bit disturbing.

The positive side is that there were a few unexpected twists in the story. I love that in a book.

I found that the characters are well developed. It was really heart warming to see them showing concern for each other well being.

Although this book is classified as Christian novel, am glad it's not preachy sort. In fact, there were a few instances where some crude language are spotted. In my opinion, this can't be help as that was what being called in that situation.

After reading this Book 1, I hope to be able to read the other two books when they are published.

Mamarazzi is a bookworm. She makan books for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even before I was born, she already tried to infect me with this disease.

Books everywhere. Books within ones grasps instead of the TV remote control is the best way to encourage someone to start reading.

See! She went borong so much from BookXcess. Bought these even before am born!

Very dahsyat punya. Mamarazzi said, reading will give you opportunities to see the world in different ways and can go to many places in the world without taking the car or plane.

Hmmm... good also... by reading can travel to so many places without using car. Save petrol and less environmentally pollution. Can avoid accident summore!

Some driver really ganas one. Drive like F1 racer or drive like in an amusement park Bumper Car game.

Sometimes you don't langgar people, people will langgar you or Acts of God. Hmmm....wondered why it's called Acts of God not Acts of Devil???

*YAWN* I am very sleepy. Usually, Mamarazzi will read me a bedtime story from Enid's Blyton books or one of the books that she grabbed from warehouse sales

which I had to drag home.

But today, I want something different. Papa bought a "Share Share Computer". Mamarazzi said it's a "Tarak boleh" coz I kept monopoly the "Share Share Computer". Papa said it's a "Tabulet".

I don't care la. I want Mamarazzi to read the e-Book which Auntie Little Bird sent me for my "Share Share Computer".

Title is 'Alien Snow'. Eh Eh? This buku is about my Alien kor kor kah? Oooo... rupanya it is not. It is betul betul about alien worr.

This book is fairly new. It was just published on 1st August 2011 by Capstone Publisher. The author's name is Dahl Pares. The cover looks a bit scary, isn't it? But the story is really interesting.

It is about a young boy who visits an antique shop.The shopkeeper then shows the boy his snow globes collection, but the boy is not interested in it.

Yuck! snow globes.. That's for girls lah. For me, I'm only interested in toy cars, but Mamarazzi said am so "ganas".

Never appreciate the toy cars she bought for me.

Anyway, back to the story.

Den...tup tup tup.... suddenly the boy found himself trapped inside the snow globe! Just like me trapped in the "kandang" last time.

Gosh! the shop owner is a bad fella and likes to collect human inside the snow globe. So the boy's adventures begin, and he have to find a way out from the snow globe or be trapped inside of it forever!!

Wah, so scary... he cannot see his Papa and Mama anymore if he cannot find a way out of it.

The story is very interesting. It got me hooked, and can see illustrative picture from the "Share Share Computer".

There's two version of the story. One on the boy's side, another one is on the alien's side. Hmmm... good vs. evil. Interesting. This book tells the story from both side. Good right? Like that reader wun be biased and simply judge who is good and who is bad.

Personally, I think this is a good story. It makes me think that sometimes, good people can be bad, and bad people can be good and have their own reasons for doing things.

People always kesian those good people who seems to kena bully all the time. But in truth, you cannot just look on the surface. Sometimes, bad people in those stories are just misunderstood.

This book is a thought provoking read. It teaches me not to simply judge people. I highly recommends this book to little boys like me. It is a fun, easy and exciting book to read.

I give this book full stars because I think this book will change my life forever.

Okay, maybe that is exaggerating, but in some ways, it does change my taste for books.

Now I like adventure kind of books more.

I am going to ask Mamarazzi buy this kind of books more for me from the next Big Bad Wolf Sale and/or BookXcess.

This is the first book of Alexia Lindale Series by Robert Whitlow. Alexia is a young and prominent lawyer who specialise in divorce cases.

One day, she was approached by Rena to help her with her case. Rena does not want and divorce. Instead she want her husband to be taken off the Life Support system. She told Alexia that is what her husband Baxter Richardson would have wanted. Standing in her way was her father in law.

At first I thought this book is something like John Grisham or Sue Grafton sort of book. However, it's not. I guess each author will have their own style of writing.

It was interesting to know that who pushed Baxter over the cliff in the beginning. However, I wished I know what's the motive.

It's very frustrating to see Alexia being duped into helping the murderous Rena. And I understand how Baxter's father must have been feeling.

Along the way, Alexia encountered the Lord. It was interesting to see how the plot changes from then.

Overall, this has been quite a good read. There are still room for improvement.

My Comment

This is book is indeed a God sent for those who love action and suspense type of book. It's a page turner. It's action pack from the first page.

What I really like about this book is the determination and the courage shown by Charlie. Well, you can say it's just fiction. Any Tom Dick and Harry can write one thing and act another. But then for the author to have the heart of the thing it is something to be commented on. More people would take and take instead of making sacrifices.

What I dislike about this book is that the book I was supposed to received was a hard copy. But then I received an e-mail that it was being replaced by an e-book. Those who knows me knew that I dislike reading e-book. Yup, I preferred paper I had a hard time trying to download a copy of this book. My home computer kept giving error message. Frankly, I have yet to successfully download this book.

But thank God to a good Samaritan who have requested the same book, forward her copy for me to read so that I can do this review. Thank you, "pal".

I would recommend this book for boys and girls from age 12 onwards.

My Comments :

This is the 1st book of Ruth Reid's "A Heaven On Earth" series. There are 3 books in this series

She had done an amazing work on this first book as the book certainly give a refreshing twist to the usual Amish fiction. Just imagine, nobody believes that Judith have seen an angel. Instead f supports, she was in fact frown upon and thought to be sowing discord among the community.

The character of were quite well developed and it shows us how important to held on something that you believe in inside of just going with the flow. Though our faith may waver sometimes but God would come knocking at our door to lead us back to his folds just like Jesus Parables on the Lost Lamb.

I finished this book in one reading as the story was good and easy to read.

There is only one complaint about this book. Well, actually it's two. I find that the cover looks rather dull. Without reading the synopsis, I don't think I would pick up this book in the stores. But this is only my personal opinion for each person taste is different.

My second complaint is, this book may have spoilt me for the second instalment as I would have higher expectation for the second book.

School Holidays Is Here Again!

Hey! School Holidays is here again! Today is the last day of school. Planning anything special?

Papa said he might bring us to Ipoh again. Can’t get enough of Ipoh good food. I love the “Ipoh Hor Fun” while Mamarazzi is dreaming of JJ Cake House Swiss Rolls.

Papa said he will have to send the car to the "car doctor" again for a check up before he decide whether we are going to Ipoh or not.

The car movement seems to be shaky since these dents miraculously appeared out of no where. The car tend to wobble left and right if the car is moving fast and it is getting worse. Hopefully, it is just the alignment that needs fixing. I wonder how much it will cost to fix the problems.

It is very scary to send the car to the workshop as we won't know how much it will cost to fix the problem until the mechanic tells us. It might cost a few hundreds to a few thousand.

I wish we have something like Repair Pal at this side of the world. Repair Pal not only helps car owner to get an estimate of how much they can expect to spend for a car service or a repair but also helps car owner to identify what might have caused the problem for they have a large Encyclopedia section.

Lets hope the problem are not to big. Then we can proceed with our holidays plans. Am now keeping all my fingers and toes crossed, hoping that the cost of repairing the car won’t be too hefty.

Gnomeo & Juliet

Have you watched "Gnomeo & Juliet" the movie yet? If you haven't, you ought to run to your nearest cinema and watch it. It's a highly captivating movie.The movie is loosely based on Shakespeare’s well known play, Romeo & Juliet".

The movie is about garden ornaments. They comes alive when their owners are not around. And like their original "Romeo and Juliet' counterparts, the Montagues and the Capulets despises each other. Fate, on the other hand, have other things planned for them. Their respective children, Gnomeo and Juliet crossed path and fell in love with each other.

Unlike the original "Romeo and Juliet", bloodbath did not occur following the event where Gnomeo and Juliet fell in love with each other. Instead of having the characters killed off, humorous predicaments were placed on both Monatagues and the Capulets.

I was not expecting much from this movie as the synopsis says it's based on "Romeo & Juliet". I thought there would be sickeningly sweet romantic scenes where only girls would like to watch.

Alas, I was wrong. Even though the movie is loosely based on Shakespeare's play, it's not exactly a pure fluff or a chic-flick. It's aimed to entertain viewers of all age.

Young audience like me would definitely love this movie as it's filled with not only good humour, but packed with action and moral values as well.

Mamarazzi said in this photograph , my face looks like a garden gnome. Do watch this movie and let me know if it is true.

My Comments:

I requested this book because I wanted to know more about bullying. There are more and more case of bullying reported in school in this country and I wanted to find out more on what is the cause of it. Any prevention or how to avoid these case from happening.

From this book, I found that that bullying can happen for not much reason at all. It can be a simple peer pressure or just that they don't like who you are friend with.

I am shocked at what Jodee Blanco had gone through trying to fit in with the popular crowd. The bullying was so bad till she had to change school. Although she said she managed to come in terms her past it when she attended her high school reunion but based on how this book is written, I feel that she had yet to fully let go of her past.

Would it have been better if she had not tried so hard to fit in? Maybe find her own group of friend?

My disappointment in this book is that it did not much solution on how to stop or prevent bulling from happen. Neither provide much information on how the school authorities could have helped. This books feels more like a memoirs instead of and inspirational book

This is an interesting book. Have the element of time travelling and holy intervention in the form of an Angel Gabriel.
It is interesting to read what historical figure like Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill and even Joan of Arc have to say about this. I love this part.
There is just too many possible answer to the question. It kept me reading on and on till I could not stand the suspense and I did a very bad thing. I flipped to the last page and looks at the ending.
yes, for me this is a good book to read.

The book

First thing comes to mind is, this is a heavy book. Not in the sense that it's hard to read or digest but rather that it is hardcover and have 224 pages. Most of the stories in this book are from the Old Testament

I like the illustration as it's simple. Stories are told with simple wordings. Not many big words. Easy for children to read for themselves or with the help of an adult.

There is a scripture reference is given for each story in case you want to look it up in the Bible.

In my opinion, the book is suitable for kids around the age of 4 to 8 years old.

The DVDs

There are two DVD which comes with the book. In the DVD there are selected 26 stories from the book. The cartoon is simple nothing fancy. And the way they talk is rather slow to emphasis on what they are saying. Language used also simple.

It is just too bad the stories told in the DVD are not in sequence with stories in the book.

I think the DVD is suitable for toddlers and kids around 3-5 years old. Older kids would find the DVD not much of a challenge.

Lost And Not Found

Mamarazzi started to do review for Booksneeze.com after Auntie Cleffairy introduce the said to her.

During this time, she had requested quite a numbers of books from there. The publisher, Thomas Nelson Publishing, would send the books/DVD to us using Normal U.S mail. Why normal U.S Mail? Coz it's more cost efficient. Just imagine, so many people all over the world requesting ARC from them and what would happen if they send using courier services. It would be very expensive indeed.

Under normal circumstances, the books/DVD would arrive to us safely. However, Mamarazzi noticed recently books with certain words tends to go "missing".

She tried to contact the Custom and the Pos Service and both are unable to help as the parcel does not have tracking number. A lady in Custom suggested maybe the books/DVD are with one of the "Kementerian"

What sort of books/DVD that tend to go missing you may ask.

Mamarazzi requested "Immanuel's Veins" in August 2010. Then "The Big Red Holy Bible" in December 2010. And January 2011, she requested "Read and Share: The Ultimate DVD Bible". These three seems to have got missing. Maybe gone to books and DVD heaven.

Another friend who have requested "Read and Share: Stories About Jesus" in January also did not receive the book.

Why books with certain words tend to go missing? Is it some sort of divine intervention or is there a reasonable explanation to it? Maybe Mamarazzi just don't have "fate" with books/DVD that contains certain words in their title.

Mamarazzi had reported "The Big Red Holy Bible" lost and Booksneeze and sent a replacement via FedEx immediately.

Now "Read and Share : The Ultimate DVD Bible" seems to have gone missing too. Should Mamarazzi report this lost to Booksneeze? Mamarazzi really "paiseh" at Booksneeze team coz they have been so kind and sent the Bible via FedEx. What if this round they do the same too? What if this round it went missing again? What would Booksneeze people think?

I guess, from now on it is better for Mamarazzi to avoid requesting books and DVD that have certain words in their title no matter how innocent to word maybe.

Gosh...I really hate traffic jam. I was caught in a 4 hours crawls the other day from before Bentong Toll to Gombak Toll when we came back to Kuala Lumpur during Chinese New Year. The air-conditioning of the car seems to be going to the dumpster.

I don't know why this car keep giving trouble. This car seems to need "hospitalisation" nearly every month. I really have no idea what the service centre people are doing. Each time they check the car, they give the car a clean bill of health but trouble will crop up in a few weeks time.

Maybe it's time to change car? Maybe a Hyundai? Auntie Bibi have a Hyundai. I heard it's a very good vehicle.

How I wish we live in West Palm Beach Florida like Auntie Bibi. Auntie Bibi told me that they got their used car from West Palm Beach Hyundai which also sells brand new cars. Said their service is very good. They can have their car serviced in Delray, Wellington, Coconut Creek and Boynton Beach. Just the other day she drove to Boynton Beach for some business and just dump her car at there for an oil change.

One of these days, we must go visit Auntie Bibi. Haven't seen her for a long time already. I really missed her Asam Pedas dish. Maybe I can bring her this tub of delicious cookies baked by Auntie Chen Chzan.

When she was a student, she joined the Planned Parenthood movement. She had believe of Planned Parenthood and had wanted to help the ladies who were in trouble.

She rose in rank until she became the Clinic Director. That is till one day she was asked to perform an an ultrasound-guided abortion. It is an abortion where you can actually see what was happening.

Then she made a radical decision where she quited her position and walked across the street to join the pro-life movement. She wrote "Unplanned" to let people know of the story.

No matter what, I think it is good that this book was published as it tells the reason why she joined the Planned parenthood and what are the mission and goals of Planned Parenthood. It also recorded her personal feelings and hope of which when she joined.

I think she is really brave to stand up and wrote what she thinks is right. Not many people would dare to do this anymore for fear of getting into a lawsuit and stuff.

However, my stand still remains that I am neither pro Planned Parenthood nor pro-life. It is a choice where each individual will have to make.

Mamarazzi was not well for the past two days. Kept vomitting and having dizziness.Went to the doctor and she was given some medicine.

Doctor say there is some wind that cause the vomitting. Or maybe she is having "kepala angin" again like the other day. Haiz...what to do..angin lo when somebody saw the comments in the blog and purposely "kacau daun" and attempt to spoilt the plans.

But one thing for sure is that most definitely she is not pregnant.

Hmm..don't know whether I would welcome a little bro or little sister or not for they maybe steal her love from me. Then day in day out would be, lil bro/sis this, lil bro/sis that. Maybe one day she would even forgets my name start calling me with the lil bro/sis name.

Today when she was feeling lousy, Mamarazzi received the much awaited The Big Red Holy Bible from Booksneeze.com. Hmm....maybe it's a hint for Mamarazzi to be more patient the coming years?

She had requested a copy of this on 2nd of December 2010. Waited for a month and it had yet to arrive. Must have gone to "book heaven" or what. Hence she wrote to Booksneeze and enquire whether they have sent out the book or not.

Fay, Senior Customer Service Representative of Thomas Nelson Publishing replied that they will be sending out a replacement copy.

And within a week, Mamarazzi received a replacement copy. Wow..this come via FedEx. Not the normal U.S Mail. There was a large chop with the word "RUSH" together with the instruction.

"Big Red" Holy Bible - Contemporary 3-D Art

I have requested this Big Red Holy Bible from the publisher Thomas Nelson. Waited for 6 weeks still no sight of the Bible. Usually Books from Booksneeze would arrive within 2-3 weeks.

Mamarazzi reported this to Booksneeze received immediate reply from them that they will be sending a replacement copy for me. The earlier copy must have got lost in transit.

When Auntie Cleffairy heard of my predicament, she offered to lend me her copy of Big Red Holy Bible so that I can do the review first.

The Big Red Holy Bible is a full-text of the International Children's Bible translation. It have a red cover with 3-D art. Suitable for children from age 6 to 10.

There is an extensive dictionary at the of the Old and New Testament there is an extensive dictionary.

In the section "Where do I find it?" is a alphabetical listing of people and events and where to find them in the scriptures.

There is also a section of God's promises, memory verses and some maps.

It is written in a simple and easy to understand English.

Overall this Big Red Bible is wonder. My only regret is that it's not hardcover. Bible is not a book where you read once and then stuff it away in a corner. It's more advisable to have it in hardcover so that the pages will be protected and the 3-D Art will last longer.

Christmas Shopping At The Curve

Christmas is just around the corner. Have you done your Christmas Shopping yet? I have!

We went shopping at The Curve the other day. A lot of things to see. They were having a Toyland sort of Christmas Decoration Theme.

Gosh..this really makes me feel like in the middle of Hansel and Gretel story. All these TALL dolls makes me feel a bit creepy.

I wanted to have that "Pink Scooter" but Mamarazzi did not but for me. She said it's too girlie for me. Not for boy.

I saw Famous Amos stall. The cookies and candies there are so cute, I want a Candy Cane!

In the end Mamarazzi relented and bought a a candy cane. Well, it is better than nothing.

We walked some more. Then out of the sudden I saw a BIG Cow. Wow! This cow sure in a Chrismassy mood. Decorated with so many bells and ribbons.

Gosh... all these walking about is really killing my feet. How I wish Mamarazzi would learn how to measure my shoe size properly. Just like in the Startrite video.

They teach you how to measure the shoe sizes properly and their online store have a line of great shoes for boys and girls.

Mamarazzi burnt midnight oil again last night. Received this book yesterday and she was hooked on it from the first page on.

The story is about Julia Desmit, a single mother who have to his son, Daniel and "mother" to her younger step-brother, Simon, aged 10. She was left in a lurch when Patrick Holt a.k.a Parker, the father of her son walked out on her. Lucky for her,as her grandmother was there to be her pillar of strenght.

She was going out with Micheal Vemeer who seems to be the man of her dreams.

Out of the sudden, she received an e-mail from Parker. He wants to worm his way back to their life. Then what would happen to Micheal? Would he take a back seat?

There were a million question going in her mind but she knows that she had to do the right thing. Not matter what, Parker is still the biological father of her child.

Mamarazzi like this book very much. First of all, it's written in a way which is easy to be understand. Not much of fancy big words that some writers seems to be fond of.

Secondly the story just jump to life. It can happen to anyone of use

Mamarazzi gives it 4 stars out of 5.

Auntie Cleffairy Bought Me A New House!

Mamarazzi memang leceh. Just l"redecorated" my house in April. Now thinking of moving house pulak.

Haiyo! just think of the cost of buying a new house and the headache of packing. Some more I might loose my friends from this house leh. Some may not wanna follow me to my new house leh.

She asked Auntie Cleffairy opinion and advices as she is the expert.

Omigosh!!! the next thing I know, Auntie Cleffairy told me that she had bought me a house as an early Christmas pressie!!!

Bedtime Stories And Prayers By Enid Blyton-The First Stone

I love playing with stones and pebbles. But Mamarazzi told me not to throw stones at people. Very bad. Jesus also said some thing similar.

According to Bedtime Stories and Prayers by Enid Blyton, a long long time ago there was this woman caught by the Pharisee. She did something wrong. The punishment at that time was bad. People gets to throw stones at her. Ouch! Very painful one.

The men that caught the woman also very bad. They plan to trap Jesus coz they hated him. They plan to get Jesus to say something that people will hate.

Their plan was to bring the woman to Jesus and ask Jesus if the woman should be punished by stoning as it was written in their law. If Jesus say no, they would say Jesus is bad for going against the law of the land. If Jesus say yes, then they will tell people that Jesus is cruel for condoning the stoning.

Then dragged the woman to Jesus but Jesus already know of their plan. He looked at the woman sobbing face and said to the crowds "Which of you here who has never done anything wrong may cast the first stone at this woman".

Everyone looked into their past and felt ashamed for none was sinless. They went away. The woman was saved.

Water Crestnut With Egg Thong Sui

This is a poor folk Thong Sui according to Mamarazzi.

Last time great-grandpopo had a large family and not much money to feed all the thirteen kids. Whenever they have the chance of getting an egg, Great-grandpopo would make this Thong Sui as a treat for the kids. Just beat an egg and pour into boiling water with some sugar added.

Mamarazzi saw Water Crestnut sold very cheap at the Pasar Malam the other day. Bought a packet. Peel off the skin and chop it up.

Throw it into the pot and boiled awhile with the sugar water.

Beat an egg and slowly pour into the boiling water.

There you go...Water Crestnut With Egg Thong Sui. Best serve chilled.

Actually Mamarazzi have added some "Sea Bird Nest" in to it. Mamarazzi bought this from Tanjung Sepat but didn't know how to cook. The 1st round she made, she throw everything in and boiled withe the Sea Coconut Leong Sui and it dissolved into nothing.

This round Mamarazzi, soak it overnight and put it in for 5minutes. Again it dissolved. Failed again. Maybe no need to boil kot? Maybe after the Thong Sui is done, just put in and eat like that kot? Anyone know how to cook this?

Nevertheless, the Thong Sui tasted good. Yumm...

No Name Restaurant Along Jalan Sungai Buloh, Kampung Melayu Subang

This Restaurant no name one. Tersepit in between two furniture shop.Saw quite a number of people makan here whenever we pass by here. Hmm...hope the food is good la.

Papa ordered "ABC". Uiks...don't know how come purple color punya. Taste? Mmmm...a bit weird.

Hot ah hot ah...Thai Tom Som. Aiyoyo....so spicy...I bet Auntie Cynthia would love this. She can really take spicy food.

Lucky got the Jumbo Watermelon Juice

Papa had Nasi Goreng Kampung(Top) while Mamarazzi and me had Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin.

Weird. Papa instructed them not to put Cili but how come the Nasi Goreng Kampung spicy one? Mamarazzi tasted and found that the Ikan Bilis was spicy. Not their Nasi

As for my Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin. Hardly have any taste of Ikan Masin at all.

I bet Auntie Little Bird would love this. Sotong Goreng Kunyit. Taste okay la . Just goreng not dry enough.

Mamarazzi didn't like this Tomyam. She said the soup too "pekat" and got taste of rotten onion. Papa said maybe it's due to the mushroom leh. Well, we didn't finish the Tomyam. They gave quite a large pot. What a waste.

This one is the best. Burung Puyuh goreng. Well marinated and delicious. Mamarazzi ate so slow. I kept having to remind her to eat faster coz I wanna feed the bones to the cats sitting under my chair.

Would definitely come back here for the Burung Puyuh.

I Missed The BBW Fire Sale!

I was so looking forward to The Big Bad Wolf Fire sale. Even had my "Kaw Kaw" put on "make-up" for me.

All book regardless of title and genre were going for RM5 and less.

It was a very long journey to the sale. Mana tau on the way to the sale, I fell asleep.

Mamarazzi saw I was sleeping. She sneak off to the sale alone while Papa drove me home to sleep.

Mamarazzi didn't get any books for me. Said not much choices left at the Children section wor. Hmmm...don't know it's true or false.

The above are her hoard. Each were going for RM5. How come she can get so many books for herself and none for me ah? Suspicious.

Asia Cafe Kota Damansara (Part 1)

Wah...so this is the new Asia Cafe ah? Not many people know yet wor.

Plenty of hawkers food. Not that pricey. Around RM5 depending what you choose.

Jumbo Juice. Umbraaaaaaa....my 1st time having this. RM5-70. Sweet sweet sour sour. Nice. Heard someone said this one is very healthy wor. Good for the heart or what.

Papa had CKT. Taste good. RM4.

Stewed Pork Sliced with Preserved "Mui Choy" Steamed Rice (RM6).

Me hungry. Aiyo...Mamarazzi wanna snap how many picture leh. Curi makan 1st.

hand come slowly....cepat-cepat curi one..stuffed into mouth...and pretend nothing happen. Hmm...very sedap.

Spared Ribs Soup With Black Bean. RM5-50. Very tasty soup. Boiled long enough.

Papa still hungry. He ordered Pork Noodle from one stall. And Mamarazzi ordered Curry Mee from the same stall.

The stall was man by a young chap in his 20s who seems to be dreaming. Maybe dreaming of his girlfriend kot?

Waited like 15 minutes, the maid came and told Mamarazzi quite rudely that they have run out of Curry Mee. "Mau order lain ka?". Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Papa was still waiting for his Pork Noodle. Was thinking of leaving when the maid came with the noodle. Taste ordinary. But taste is relative for each person. Some may love it.

If you are at this Asia Cafe, must try the steamed rice and the soup.

The Warung @ MidValley

Anak Bapak....

Mamarazzi saw her friend posted a delicious photo in his Facebook. Stall name is The Warung. Located in Midvalley, near the exit to the KTM

Adoi...so many choices. What to eat?

Papa ordered Sirap Bandung for me while he had Teh Tarik. Mamarazzi had Kopi O.

This is my first Sirap Bandung. Hmm....now I know why Uncle Pete's son loves Sirap Bandung.

Jeng~jeng~Jeng~ Nasi Tumpang(RM9-80). It's a Kelantanese food. Used to be "bungkus" by the farmers wife for their husband to go to paddy field.

This is the Nasi that Mamarazzi's friend posted in his Facebook. Quite tasty but rather expensive.

Papa ordered Nasi Lemak (RM3) for me. Nice but the Sambal very fiery.

Halfway eating I beh tahan. Use hand better la. After all, in the old times people use hands to eat at warung

After makan, I wash my hands using the basin provided.

Bedtime Stories And Prayers By Enid Blyton-The Ten Unhappy Men

Simple meal. Mamarazzi cooked Bak-Kut-Teh

Fried Cabbage Indian style.

Me ? Happy with any food as long as tummy is full. Not like those unhappy men in the Enid Blyton Bedtime Stories and Prayer book.

The story goes like this. There was these 10 lepers. Lepers in those days very kesian one. No cure one. Everyone was afraid of them and they are left to rot in the hills and caves. Away from the community.

One day Jesus pass by an area where there are lepers. They got to know this and shouted for Jesus to have mercy on them.

Jesus heard them and ask his disciples to bring them to him. He healed them and ask them to go and show themselves to the Priest. During those days, they have to show themselves to the Priest to get a confirmation that they are cured. Not like now where you can start go and get Medical Check-up at any hospital.

Well, out of the 10 lepers that Jesus cured. Only one came back to thank him

Bamboo Charcoal Tambun Biscuit From Pan Heong

Broom...broom......The other day Papa dreamt of Pan Heong's Noodle again. The Wat Tan Hor taste really good wor.

We went and tapau-ed lo. This round we didn't add the "Sang Har". Just the noodle. Surprisingly there is a lot of ingredient in the noodle. They put sotong, small prawn, fish cakes and etc. Very cheap too. RM9 only. Portion for two person.

While waiting, Mamarazzi spied this Bamboo Charcoal Tambun Biscuit. RM11-50 for a box of 24 biji. Not bad wor. Cheap.

Looks ugly. Taste? Not bad lah. Can buy again la. Not that sweet. Good for those people who wanna eat Tambun Biscuits but is health conscious.

Big Bad Wolf Sale 2010(2nd Round)

Wah....the crow really went crazy ah? The place quite "clean out" already. The big stacks of Jodi Picoult books almost lesap all already. Terror!

But then Wolfie will surely open new boxes of books tomorrow.

The other day, I went to visit my Dear. Her mommy have been baking yummy chocolate chip cookies for sale. Auntie Cynthia looks so happy and joyful when she was baking. No wonder when I eat my dear's mommy's cookies I feel so happy. It's because when Auntie Cynthia was baking the cookies, she bake it with love and joy.

This reminds me of a book that Mamarazzi received from Booksneeze free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. She was not required to write a positive review.All opinion are her own. The book is called Dining With Joy by Rachel Hauck.

The book is about a young lady called Joy.

When her father passes away, Joy Ballard takes over his cooking show and she renamed it from Dining with Charles to “Dining With Joy.”

But then again, there is just one small, minor problem. Joy can’t cook. Oh, uh! Trouble brewing! How can you host a cooking show without knowing how to cook?

She is able to hide the fact that she doesn't know how to cook until her producer sells her show. When her show is picked up by a major network and given a prime time slot, trouble begins. People began to suspect that she doesn't know how to cook, and Joy's enemies really wants to see her failed!
And then enter Luke Redmond, a handsome , creative chef who has just lost his own restaurant due to financial failure. He is asked to co-host the show with Joy. Joy and Luke are thrown together on the show and he uncovers her lack of culinary skills.

After Luke rescues her from certain cooking doom, she thanks him and life gets a little sizzly after that.

Mamarazzi says this is a very cute book. She likes it very much. She said, out of 5 cookies, she give 4 cookies out of it.

But I think my Auntie's Cynthia's cookies is yummier. Nothing beats that!

Yup...going for the Preview of The Big Bad Wolf Sale at South City Plaza. The actual sale date is 12th - 17th November 2010.

Hope the bag is big enough to carry all the books that I am going to buy la.

Finally arrived also to South City Plaza. Gotta check-in first. If Big Bad Wolf finds anyone who is not in the invitation list, Big Bad Wolf might just take a huge bite on that person.Scarryyyyy.

Wah lau eh! So many books....where to start?

It's simply HUMOGOUS! WOW!! all those popular titles!!! Jodi Picoults, Nora Roberts, John Grisham and many more.

Two hours later....

Aiks! I thought mine is a lot but Kor Kor Jon's punya are much much much more than mine. Salute!

No..no..no...Big Bad Wolf. Enough. Can't stay and play with you anymore. Too much ..too much...We'll come and play with you again next year okay.

Time for payment. A word of advice. In order to save time, do arrange your books properly according to price. Easier for the Kor Kor and Jie Jie at the counter to scan.

Overall, we are delighted with the pickings of this sale. A lot of fiction, non-fiction and Children books.

From what Mamarazzi observed, fiction are mostly RM8 per book. Non-fiction & Children books varies from RM2, RM5, RM8, RM10, RM12 and RM15. Mamarazzi saw a lot of RM8 books. Very very very worth while.

Nasi Amak(Lemak) Seapark Behind Maybank

Makan Nasi Amak? So many people eating here. Must be very good.

Nasi Lemak with fried chicken RM4-50. Hmmm...smells good

Got Otak-Otak also. Papa took a piece. Said taste okay lah. RM1-20

Mmmm,...yum yum sedap. The Sambal is sweet. Not that spicy. Chicken marinated just right.

Papa don't like the chicken much coz of the rempah. But Mamarazzi said not bad la. Cheaper than Kanna.

The "waiters" at this stall were very friendly. I called "Boss! 100 Plus please" and they smiled and patted my head.

Ah Cheng Laksa @ Giant Shah Alam

*Blink*Blink* Cari Makan again. Was at Giant Shah Alam. After shopping hungry lor.

Then Mamarazzi recalled Vialentino posted about him having a nice Asam Laksa here .

Clock wise- Pan Mee, Nasi Lemak and Asam Laksa.

Pan Mee(RM6-90) is for me lah. Yumm...sedap. They put Cakur Manis.

Then comes the Nasi Amak(Lemak) with Kerang(RM6-90). Very good. Papa even ask for additional rice to go with it. The Sambal really got KICK.

Mamarazzi's bowl of Asam Laksa(RM6-90). Fuiyo., the soup really cukup sour. Just too bad the noodle was a bit over cooked. Hmm...come to think of it maybe not over-cooked. Maybe coz Mamarazzi was busy helping me to blow blow my Pan Mee and neglected her bowl of Asam Laksa.

Mamarazzi's glass of Ice Lemon Tea(RM2-50), Papa's Lemon Juice and my 100 Plus.

I was eating my bowl of Pan Mee but eye was "eyeing" Papa's bowl of Red Bean Thong Sui. In the end, Papa let me have a taste. Hmm...not bad. Boleh tahan.

After makan, must do this. Learn from Papa.

*piggy mouth* Don't want to go home yet.

Want shopping some more. Saw this shop got sale.

Papa bought me two pairs of new shoes. Buy one, free on. RM29-90. Nice hor ? Nice new shoes to wear to meet the BIG BAD WOLF

Round round don't know what to eat again. Then Mamarazzi recalled Uncle Chai mention the food at Subang Station Food Court is not bad.

Hmm... I hope so lah.

Papa ordered "Special Fried Keoy Teow" RM5 I think. Taste pretty good. Standard is as good if not better than those Chinese Fried Keoy Teow.

While waiting for his plate of CKT, Papa ngap-ed a packet of this Nasi "Amak". He gave me some.

Taste good but too spicy for me.

Haiz...after makan-ed his plate of CKT, Papa makan-ed one more bungkus of Nasi "Amak". Said Spicy but nice wor.

Mamarazzi wanted Kerabu Manga. They have this but the waitress said nobody wanted to make as they are short of staffs. Well, at least she is honest and didn't bluff say "habis" or make you wait half an hour baru say "tarak".

Then Mamarazzi had this Tomyam Seafood. Tasty and the good part is that it's not oily. See..the soup is clear of oil.

Finally, Mamarazzi's and my Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin. I find it "hot'. I didn't like it. But Mamarazzi said not bad though portion a bit small as compared to Vichudda's

Overall, not bad lah this meal. At least found an alternative to a nice Tomyam.

Bedtime Stories And Prayers By Enid Blyton-Daniel In The Lion's Den

What? You don't know who is Daniel? You should ask Mamarazzi to read the story from Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories and Prayers for you.

Daniel is my hero. Daniel was good friend with his King. Then there was some people who is jealous of him so they give evil thoughts to the King. The King pulak listen and made a law that everyone should pray to him for 30 days. Haiz...he belum mati also want people to pray to him. Really don't understand lah.

Well, Daniel believe in Lord God only and would not pray to any other people.

The King threw him into the Lion den with last word that he hopes that Daniel's God would protect Daniel.

Mana tau Daniel survived for Lord God had protected him and calmed all the hungry Lions there.

The King was surprised and amazed for he now realised that Daniel's God is the living God and steadfast forever. The King made a rule that everyone must prayer to Daniel's God.

Uncle Hock! Jom makan Bak-Kut-Teh! I know you don't eat "bak" so this one will suit you well. You can 100% eat punya. The soup is Bak-Kut-Teh minus the Bak only.

Fuiyoh...can smell the Basil from far away. Flavourful.

The Asam Fish Fillet is just nice. Not that spicy.

Mamarazzi LOVE this. When this bowl of Tomyam arrived, it looked quite plain. But the taste...fuiyo...sedap. And it's not too oily.

Mamarazzi said they used to have this on the coin when she was young. But she didn't know it was Parliment building coz she looked at it terbalik. Thought it was a gun. Bang-bang-bang just like in the movies. *pengsan*

Saw a very very very tall flag pole with Jalur Gemilang.

KL Tower, one of Malaysia's pride. Say got restaurant at the top wor. Papa and Mamarazzi have been up there before but tarak bring meh geh. Tak aci.

Restaurant Pan Heong, Batu Caves

Ni Auntie Claire punya pasal. She recommend this place very highly. Papa and Mamarazzi finally go coz can't think of anything else to eat.

Pass by this Gigantic structure. Gosh! Kesian those Amazing Race Asia people. Have to climb up the stairs and tell the Priest there how many steps made up the stairs. Count wrongly they had to go down and start all over again. *pengsan*

After cari punya cari, finally found this restaurant

Hot ah! Hot ah! Gimme ice.....

Come here must order their signature dish la....the "Sang Har Mee" . But Papa prefers Keoy Teow, so we ordered Wat-Tan-Hor with "Sang Har" instead.

The Keoy Teow was very tasty. Yummy yummy but the same can't be said for the "Sang Har". The prawns were pretty much tasteless.

The portion for this plate of Kangkung was rather small for RM6. But at least the Kangkung was young and juicy.

Nam Yu Pork. Another one of their signature dish.

Ngap-ngap-ngap...I bet this Nam Yu Pork goes well with Beer.

Ah hah! Papa's favourite. Fu Chuk with fish paste. RM2-20 a piece. Minimum order is 3 pieces. Mamarazzi ordered 3 pieces. Then had to top up another 3 pieces as Papa walloped all in a blink of an eye.

Fried Rice? Hmmm...am kinda full already wor.

Hmm...don't know it's because am kinda full or what but I find the fried rice not that appetising. Papa said it taste okay.

Haiz...say wanna eat Curry Fish Head. But how come become Crab pulak?.

Salted eggs Crabs again ah? You tak boring I also boring la. Though it taste pretty good, but not other crabs meh?

Huh? You must be joking!

PONDAN Crab? Adoi..STP going to laugh like mad again. Apparently it is not a spelling error. There really is a dish called Steamed Pondan Crabs. Must make another trip to this restaurant and order this dish some day.

Love this Taufu dish. The seafood was fresh and got an unexpected bonus. They put a thin layer of egg at the bottom of the plate.

Hence we got a two-in-one dish. Taufu and steamed egg dish.

What bean you call these ah? Guai Tau Miu? Very tasty and young.

Hahaha...this dish will have Auntie Little Bird drool. Sotong. Very tasty though Papa said it's a bit sweet. Mamarazzi love this.

You still remember my bag of "pulut"? Given to my by one anonymous during our makan at Restaurant Cincai.

Mamarazzi managed to cook once only. Used about 1kg. Now starting to have "worms". How ah? What else to cook? Tak kan la ask me to eat Loh Mai Fan daily? How I wish Ruth is here then I can give it to her. Have you heard of the story of Ruth?

Well, one of the story in Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories and Prayers is The Story of Ruth

Long time ago there was an old woman named Naomi, who have two Daughter-in-laws. One named Prpah and one named Ruth.

Both her sons have died and Naomi decided to go back to her old Village and live. Ruth was very good and loyal. Ruth begged to be allowed to follow Naomi back to her village so that she can continue serving Naomi.

They were welcomed in Naomi's village and to support their life there, Ruth took to gleaning on the fields during harvest time. Gleaning is picking up stray ears of barley when they have been cut.

She went to the field of a farmer called Boaz. People told Boaz how good Ruth to Naomi. He went and saw Ruth. He found that Ruth was indeed as nice as what people had said.Boaz instructed his workers to purposely drop more barley at the place where Ruth was gleaning. And after the harvest, he married her. And they have a beautiful son. They took care of Naomi too.

The moral of the story? Must have a loving heart loh. But easier said than done. Must try harder.

Potluck at My Dear's Place

Last weekend we had a delightful time at my dear's house. Potluck.

Fuiyo...Mamarazzi really tak malu. Yau sik yau tapau-ed (Eat and tapau-ed)

We had Nasi Lemak "potluck". Before the "party", Auntie Cynthia did a Menu Check in Facebook. A friend saw. Kesian him. He hinted that he will be removing some of his friends for torturing him with food.

Don't merajuk ya... Next round you come to K.L we will feed you good food lah

Wah...all very spicy punya leh. Auntie Cynthia make the Lemak Ikan and Sotong. She said "No cili..only have Cili padi". Aiyoyo.....this one really cukup "kick".

Then Auntie Little Bird made Curry Chicken. Lucky not that spicy. Even my dear can eat that. In fact my dear love the potato very much. I see her eating the potatoes I also scared. She can really take spicy stuffs.

Mamarazzi paling "cheh kai" Make Sambal Petai with Prawn. Kira okay lah since it's her first time making. The Petai a bit over-cooked.

Lucky Auntie Cynthia clever. Got ready 3 biji of cucumbers. Nice nice cooling cucumbers.

This fried sotong dish VERY laku. Put on the table within 2 minutes all gone already. I didn't even have time to taste. Major "DBKL" were Auntie Little Bird and Papa lor.

Ah....Acar. Again...I didn't get to eat. Looks lovely though.

What is Nasi Lemak without the Nasi? Brown rice Nasi Lemak. Wanna try? Yumm..

Auntie Cynthia really pandai. Maybe she knows I can't take much of spicy food. She made ABC soup. I syok syok ate rice with ABC soup.

For dessert we had Mamarazzi's Rocky Cucur Pisang. Why rocky? Coz hard as rock lor....too much flour and not enough banana.

But at least the Ondeh-ondeh not bad la. Just too bad tarak pandan water. Had to use colouring instead of natural colouring from Pandan Leaves.

This is the BEST! Cream Puffs! Auntie Cynthia left it to the last moment to do the filling coz she wanna know what flavour we wanted. Auntie Little Bird said Chocolate. These puffs really yummy leh. Not too sweet. Just nice.

Not only that! Auntie Cynthia baked a batch of cookies too. I get to take a box of these delicious cookies home. I love them Thank you very much, Auntie Cynthia for the cookies and for having us at your home.

Service with A Smile?

Went to makan at Pizza Hut, Subang Parade not so long ago. Papa was craving for their Cheesy Pizza.

Ding Dong! Am ready to order.

Waited and waited and waited..still nobody came to take our order.

Restaurant not crowded what!Why nobody come and take order one? Not peak period pun.

Grrr....Auntie Cleff even suggested that we go online and order the pizza to be delivered to Pizza Hut, Subang Parade. Pizza Hut Delivery Service would have been faster than Dine-In.

Well, somebody finally came and take our order.

The soup came first. Mamarazzi had two spoon of this soup and she said enough. It's that bad.

Usually the Garlic bread would come together with the soup or nearly the same time. But this one not. We had to wait and wait till the soup was cold and Papa had to remind the Waiter, they baru bring us the Bread.

Hmm...really spoilt my appetite

Also had to wait long time for the Pizza to arrive. Does anyone know whether the 15 minutes waiting time applicable for Lunchtime only or is it throughout the day?

Taste? So-so only.

Forgot what is the name of this thingy. Mamarazzi didn't eat that coz stomach full already from all the waiting. The "sausage" also "kedut" already when it arrived our table.

Mamarazzi's order of Chicken Wings. I think it's Honey BBQ Wings. Tasted too sweet. Much of sugar instead of honey.

After makan, we saw a booth promoting UniFi. Papa went and enquire whether our area have this service or not while Mamarazzi brought me to meet the Clown.

The "smile" on this Clown face really pasted on. He "smile" with paint instead of mouth and eyes. Well, maybe it have been a tiring day for him but still...it's his job mah.

Anyway, he made me this "pink" coloured sword. "Pink"?

Then we went around the corner and saw this smiley Clown at Sime Darby booth. He is one Jolly fella. A bright smile on his face. Very much different from the Clown at UniFi booth.

Maybe he kesian me with my pink sword. He made me another sword. This one is blue colored. Thank you very muchie!

The main character in this book is Billy Allman. He had a tough childhood, a near death experience and a Guardian Angel.

He idolised his father but lost him at a very tender age. His only legacy was an old Mandolin which his father taught him how to strum. He was gift not only in playing the Mandolin but also fixing things.

He have a good heart but not much of social skills. Even his guardian angel was puzzle why Lord singled him out for special protection. Billy seems to be in good shape. He believe in the way of the Lord and did many good things. He would never do a bad thing. But why he is in need of a guardian angel.

He managed to built himself a radio station in his home though the town people was not as optimistic as him. There is one woman who supported him but he was unable to open up his heart to her. This is because he carries with him a brutal secret.

But would the help of the guardian angel and the love of a woman be enough for him to battle the demons that haunt him? Well, that's for me to know and for you to find out.

I can tell that Mamarazzi loves this book. She said the first few chapters were very moving. Cried a river. But the some how the book lost it's steam in the middle. However, it managed to pick up the pace again just before the ending.

Mamarazzi gave this book 4 stars out of 5 stars.

Mamarazzi is hoping to get her hands on "June Bug" which is also written by Chris Fabry. From the excerpt, June Bug seems to be another delightful book.

Dinner At Restaurant Seong Mun(Kuala Kubu Bahru) and A Snack

uAs I have said earlier, we wanted to have the Nasi Lemak again. But when we got down from the hill, the Nasi Lemak finished.

Hence we proceed with Papa's back up plan. That is to have dinner at Restaurant Seong Mun, No. 204, Kampung Baru, 44000 Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor. It's located along the main road. Papa read that the restaurant have very nice frog leg dish.

After they "jalan" so much, they really have to "replenish" their legs energy.

Saw something under the table.

One doggy. Looks clean and friendly enough. Not begging for food type.

Enjoying cup of tea while waiting for the food to be served.

Jeng~jeng~jeng~The frog leg dish. Wow! very big portion. The frog meat taste just like chicken. If you see properly it looked a lot like chicken drumstick too. Very yummy. If not mistaken this dish cost RM25. Not bad la.

Next come that Pai-Kut. Taste not bad. Quite good.

We totally love this Claypot Taufu dish. Very tasty and a lot of "liu".

After makan, Papa wanted to go exploring. We went to the town. Then Papa spotted this van parked opposite Argo Bank. It's selling Yuk Kon Roti.

Apa lagi. Mulut gatal lor.

Mamarazzi went down and bought 3 roti.

The man was very friendly and a good sales person. Managed to convince Mamarazzi to buy half kati of Yuk Kon from him.

Wow..they come all the way from Ampang to sell this. The man even mentioned that he also go to "Man lau" to sell. Mamarazzi don't know where is "Man Lau" Anyone knows? It's in Cantonese.

See...the roti look so yummy. Papa loves the soft bun.

Mmmmm....good!

See this Yuk Kon. Not much black. The man said he purposely trim off the black thingy coz it's not healthy wor.Papa wanted more black coz more crunchy. Papa ate one slice and love it. So Mamarazzi end up getting down from the car and buy 1 more kati. Quite cheap at RM30 per kati

Oh what a day. Makan all the way.

Two Dinosaurs and An Energised Bunny Going Up The Hill

In case you are wondering, the hill that I mean was Fraser Hill

Very narrow and winding road. Hence they imposed contra flow traffic. Odd hours for cars to go up and even hour for cars to come down.

The reason we come is to play water and ride horsey. first stop, Jeriau Falls.

It's a long walk to the water fall site.

Along the way saw small stream going downhill. The water very clear.

Stopped halfway to play with the swings there

Enjoying the scenery.

Finally arrived. Hmmm...rather disappointing. Thought the Waterfall would be huge and a lot of gushing water. This one very small only.

There were two man made "pool" there to catch the water from the fall. Papa brought me to the one which water not so deep.

Cool!

Water no so deep. But it's freezing cold.

Nevertheless I love it very much.

Nice to play water here. Won't kena sunburn

Splash ah! Splash water at Papa.

Alamak! Papa revenged. Brrrrr...cooooooooold....

Don't want. Don't wanna take photo lah. Tired already lah.

The journey back from the Fall was...ahem ahem...painful and slow. So slow that I managed to spot a bird nest on top of one of the trees.

The two "dinosaur" was crawling slower than a snail. Coz have to climb back up from the waterfalls mah.

By the time got back to the car, no more energy to go horse riding anymore. Mamarazzi sat there like a dead piece of meat. Guess she needs more exercise gua.

For the rest of the journey, we just sat in the car. Papa drove around Fraser Hill. Didn't get down from the car to snap photos as both were too tired

I saw this lovely Pos Office The wall full of green thingy plant. Is it called Ivy?

Then I saw this clock tower too. Mamarazzi told me last time it's not full of the green leaves. It was bricks. But that was many years ago. A lot of things had changed.

We got down from Fraser Hill around 4p.m. Just nice to cari makan for dinner.

Going Up The Hill With Two Dinosaurs

Fill up the petrol! Going some ulu place. Might not have petrol station.

Stopped halfway to see this beautiful Reservoir. Blue skies and cool air.

Even the monkeys comes out to play.

Up the hill we went.

Left ah...right ah... swaying here and there. Gosh...am going to get car sick already. I miss my Car Seat. It's in the Green Car. Green Car still hospitalised waiting for spare parts. The seat belt in this car not syok geh. I still sway left and right .

Pening already. Pucat. But no vomit.

Mamarazzi...I don't wanna eat can or not? When will we arrive there? I wanna play water already.

Mamarazzi got me this Ribena with Lemon. Said will help to settle my tummy wor. The nice lady at the stall even gave me this asamboi candy. But Mamarazzi won't let me eat coz she said got asamboi seed inside. Worried that I might choke.

Then the Nasi Lemak came. Surprisingly I felt like eating pulak. Yummy..this Nasi Lemak very tasty. Mamarazzi walloped a lot. Said the Sambal very tasty. Just sweet and spicy enough.

This was Papa's plate of chicken rice. He said tasted okay. But then he saw Mamarazzi and me happily walloping the Nasi Lemak, he also want. He ordered a plate of Nasi Lemak for himself. He said very tasty too.

When we came down the hill, we stopped by this stall again. Wanted to have another go at the Nasi Lemak. But too bad. All sold off already.

After makan-ed, I sucked on a piece of lemon. And then I felt much better already. More energised. Even better than the Duracell Bunny.

Wokay...let's go and continue our journey.

Big Bad Wolf Warehouse Sale & Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh, Glenmarie

Bad news for Mamarazzi. TheBIG BAD WOLF WAREHOUSE SALE is back. It will be at South City Plaza from 12-17 November 2010. Won't be able to go as have to balik kampung for wedding. Not my wedding ah...later my Dear misundertood me then I cham liao.

Arghhhhh!!!!!!!!! of the 365 days in the whole year....and the two events have to crash.

Well....since Mamarazzi monyok-ed and no appetite, Papa brought us to eat "Oink! Onik!" one of her favourite food.

Not long ago, Prince & Princess Mum introduced this Pao Xiang BKT in her blog. We ventured to 1U to have a try. Then found that Glenmarie also have another branch. Hence we went to Glenmarie branch lo. Ample parking and no need to pay parking fees.

This branch the place is very clean and the workers and taukeh very attentive. Just too bad they don't have cutlery for kids. All are breakable plates, bowls and spoons.

We ordered the pork stomach and the intestine. Yummy but a tad oily.

Also the Goh Hui and the Luen Kut. Papa likes the Luen Kut but not the Goh Hui coz the meat not that tasty.

These small bowl/pots cost RM9-50 each. Rather expensive. Unlike the one at 1U, Jusco Card member gets discount.

The bowl of Yau Char Kuai cost around RM3. Rather expensive. Mamarazzi saw it looks more like "Ma kiok" instead of YCK. Nevertheless, the YCK was still crunchy and nice.

Then comes the Yau Mak. Not bad.

The good part about this branch is that it opens 7 days a week .

So what is the best thing to do after eating BKT and it's already evening time?

It was said long ago, Jesus wish to pray up at the hill. Hence he told his disciples to take the boat and go over to the other side of the lake to wait for him. He will come to them when he is ready. They too the boat and went

As Jesus was praying, a storm occurred. Jesus saw that Peter and those in the boat were having a hard time controlling the boat and that they wished that he was there with them. He did.

He did a strange thing. He walked over the waves to them called out to them not to be afraid for he had come.

Peter the shouted if it is Jesus, please tell him(Peter) to come over to him. Jesus did. Peter was amazed that he can walk on the water. But the for a moment he doubted and started to sink. He cried out for Jesus to save him

Jesus stretcthed out his hand and helped Peter. He reproached Peter for doubting him.

How I wish Jesus would hold out his hand to me in my times of need. And maybe he did...coz Mamarazzi received two mysterious bookmark yesterday

Restaurant Fatty Crab, Taman Megah

Papa "played" with my Lego car while waiting for food. Jahaaaatttt...say buy for me to play but Papa and Mamarazzi monopoly pulak.

Century Eggs and Chicken Wings.

Need to "hammer-hammer" ka the Chicken Wing? Ngap!....hmmm....

Kiasu...one hand holding Chicken Wing and one hand holding century Egg. Mouth ada satu only.

Disappointed the Chicken wing was very salty.Not as nice as previous time. Marinated too long?

Get ready...here it come.

Plain Steamed Crabs. Taste very yummy and fresh.

Fried Rice. We order portion for two person but the portion was rather small. Doe not taste that good.

Papa order the toast. Not to eat with the crab.You know what he did?

He ordered Satay and ate the toast with the Satay gravy. Said very tasty wor.

This round Mamarazzi was rather put off by the attitude of the "auntie waitress" there who had "i-know-better-than-you" attitude.

The woman was reluctant to take a baby chair for me. And treat of me as "invisible". Plates, spoons and what not was not given to me.

When we order food, the woman took order had the attitude of "either you take it or leave it". Mamarazzi at first said wanna "ban" this restaurant already especially since the food not that nice this round. But Papa said never mind la. Give them chance. The poor attitude did not involve all workers there. Only one or two "aunties" there.

Restaurant Sam U Claypot, Petaling Jaya

Haiz...once again round-round-round don't know what to eat. Papa look at Mamarazzi. Mamarazzi look at me. From Shah Alam round to KL then to PJ. End up at this restaurant.

Hope the food is good.

Menu style is like Old Town Coffee wor. There is a paper on the table for us to Tick Tick Tick.

Okie..order Chicken Hor Fun for Mamarazzi la. She didn't know what to eat. But then hor...I end up walloping nearly the whole bowl of Hor Fun. I love it. Very yummy.

Papa and me had Chicken Rice. Not that pricey. RM4-50 for a single person portion. Papa kept drinking the soup. Said tasty. However, later he become very thirsty in the car. Maybe it's loaded with MSG?

Chicken. Wah...so big portion...but then poke poke a bit, found that "ada taugeh disebalik ayam".

Aiya..cannot complain la since portion is for 1 person. Have 5 pieces of chicken meat and taugeh kira as very good already. Moreover the chicken meat was tasty leh.

Additionally we ordered "Chicken Feet Kerabu" and "chicken Gizzard". The portion were big and taste delicious. Papa love both.

We will definitely come again if we want nice Chicken Rice. Seems to be cheaper than Ipoh Chicken Rice at Jalan Gasing.

Christmas Comes Early at BookXcess

Well, after spending the RM10 voucher.....Mamarazzi saw in Facebook that BookXcess October shipment had arrived.

So many new and great books, especially children book. Hand start to be itchy.

Sorry ya...when Mamarazzi was at BookXcess, she didn't have time to snap photos of all the nice new books there. Books were flying off the shelves and everyone was trying to grab as many as they could. Saw a woman with a WHOLE BOX full of books and yet she asked from the staff for another box.

She managed to grab this box of wooden Jigsaw Puzzle for me. It's RM24-90 only. There are several other patterns too.

Lucky for me as Mamarazzi e-mailed Bookxcess to reserve this book for me coz by the time we arrived there, Mamarazzi can't see this book on the shelves. Not sure they still have stock or not.

Price RM29-90. Expensive? I say no. You know why?

It got lyrics of Christmas Song. Press a button and it will play the Christmas Song. After it finished playing the Christmas Song, there is a red light/dot to guide me note by note on how to play the song. Also for more advance kids, there are colourful musical notes there for them to follow and play.

Good leh?

This round Mamarazzi kira "guai" already. She only bought two books for herself.

Once she arrived home she started reading "The Lovely Bones". Hmmm...I wonder whether it's related to "Pai Kut" or "doggy bones" but Mamarazzi said no. It's a lovely sad story and she had reviewed the book in her blog.

Now she is reading the Betty Neels Christmas Treasures book.

Hmmm....Seems like BookXcess is preparing for Christmas early lor. Saw a lot of new arrivals with Chrismassy theme. There is an inspirational cute Christmas bear book costing RM9-90 that I wanted too but Mamarazzi said I have too many already. So she didn't get for me.

Wanna know the sad new? When she arrived home she saw BookXcess just updated more new delicious book in the Facebook ...sobs sobs.....

Strawberry and BookXcess Again.

Mamarazzi got this Book Voucher from BookXcess during our 3rd time there in conjunction to their Malaysia Day celebration. Yup...Mamarazzi gone crazy. Went there 3 times! Didn't blog about the 3rd time coz sure someone out there would think we are ambassador of BX pulak.

Then Auntie Cleff gave me this cute strawberry pulak.

It unfolds into a shopping bag. Cute ah? Can shop for more books.

Suppose to spend RM10 only but don't know how the thing seems to "beranak".

Mamarazzi got this lovely Inspector Singh book. Then she saw this Terracotta Warriors books pulak. It's none fiction. Seems interesting. Bought it lo. Hope it's good.

Then saw this "apple-tising" book titled "The Stepmother". Haven't read any of this author books before. Does she have other books? Entah-lah. Just grabbed.

Saw two Vikram Seth books titled "Two Lives". One was priced at RM24-90 and another was REM19-90. Needless to say which one Mamarazzi grabbed.

As Mamarazzi walking towards the counter, something caught her eyes. A lovely set of Pooh Bear books. RM24-90 only. She grabbed one set for me.

Restaurant Cincai(Again) , Setapak

After going to Restaurant Cincai, Auntie Cleff still tak puas lagi. We went one more round to Restaurant Cincai. This round they brought along more "little horses".

Me? Me guai-guai. I just help to sabo the things and the guai guai makan. Yum..yumm...see Papa managed to get evidence of Mamarazzi busy "grabbing" food stuffs.

A variety of goreng-goreng stuffs. Love the fried Wantan. Not those that Auntie Cleff was making. Chicken Wings not bad.

Ooo..the watermelon was very nice. Very red and juicy. Just the way Mamarazzi loves it. I love the jelly. The black ones are "turtle jelly". Very strong taste.

Haiz...apa lagi...scallop and prawns finished la. the Taukeh replenished a few times and yet...gone. Papa loves the eggs.

This round Auntie Cleff counted. 318 scallop only. Less than what we had previously if we were to apportion it.

Uiks! Got surprise Guest. You know who is this?

Alamak! why this tree no flowers geh? No flowers tak apa la..maybe daun also can gua. Wanna give to my Dear. I didn't get her anything wor.

Aiyo...the gang reallyganas. Lepak till nearly midnight baru wanna go home. Walloped so much.

Oh yah...this photograph have been purposely "blur" for obvious reason. Many of the gang members are camera shy.

Really have to salute the gang members. They can really think up very creative gifts. One gave a bag of FIVE kilogramme of beras pulut. Guess Mamarazzi can open stall selling Loh Mai Farn already.

One give book. Then a wedding gift? Ohh...it's a lovely home made hair band. A bit too big for my "tail" hence Mamarazzi took it for herself. Tak malu.

Then Auntie Cynthia gave me candy and her home made muffins. And a cooler bag too so that Mamarazzi can go buy ice cream for me without worry that it will melt.

Thank you very much ya to everyone. I had a lot of fun that night. Hope we can do it again soon. Next round we go to Anonymous' house in Cheras for Charcoal Fried Noodles ya? Okay or not?

Went to the Empire Shopping Gallery. Found this "new" thingy. Not exactly new as it had started since 1st October 2010. It's the World's Tallest Indoor Tube Slide.

I wanted to have a go at this. Should be fun. Headed to the Ticketing Booth Counter.

Tak aci! Papa don't let me play. And the lady at the counter say I am too small. Am big boy already ah. Not baby anymore.

Tak kasi I main tak apa. I go exploring la. Upstairs found a play room for kids. Not much toys there. Someone left his/her school bag there and homework half done.

Then I came down found Papa syok-syok sitting on a Swirling chair there. Mamarazzi also sat down. Said tired wor. I pun revenge la. I turn turn turn Mamarazzi chair till she pening wanna vomit.

Then I drag Papa and Mamarazzi go to Toys R Us and buy me Lego.

Aiks..not like this ah? David didn't baling batu like this ah? Aisay...I thought wanna copy David as in David and Goliath. You know the story?

According to Enid Blyton story book, this happen long before Jesus was born. There was this Sheppard boy name David who was very brave and fearless.

He and his brothers joined the army that was fighting against the Philistines.

There was this great big giant who was at the Palestinian side and challenged them for a man to man fight. Everyone was afraid of the giant but not David. He said he would fight the Giant.

King Saul was apprehensive to send a boy out for a man's job. But David said he have confidence in Lord God and that HE would help him to defeat the Giant.

The army gave armour and shield to wear but that was too heavy for him. He shedded the heavy armour and shield. Instead he took his staff , sling and 5 pebbles from the brook running nearby and went to face Goliath.

Goliath was surprised those see David and scorned him. But David was not afraid. He said to Goliath "You come to me with a sword, a spear and a shield, but I come to you in the name of God who will fight with me and conquer you!"

With that he took out his sling and pebbles. He whirled his sling around and flung the pebble. It was well aimed and it hit the Giant at the forehead where the armour did not protect him.

David was so brave. I wish I am as brave as him
